This Refund Policy outlines the terms under which refunds may be considered.

Non-Refundable Payments
All payments received by IOASD are non-refundable. Payments are collected as service charges to support the educational and scientific programs and activities provided by IOASD. These payments are considered final and non-refundable once processed.

Exceptions
Refunds may be issued in the following specific circumstances:

• Payment Made by Mistake: If a payment has been made in error (e.g., a duplicate payment or a payment for an incorrect program), a refund will be considered.
• Overpayment: If an individual has accidentally paid more than the required or asked amount for any service or program, the excess payment may be refunded.

Refund Request Process

• Refund requests for payments made by mistake or overpayment must be submitted in writing within 7 days from the date the payment was made.
• Requests must be sent to IOASD’s official contact email or through the contact form on the IOASD website, including details such as the payment reference, amount paid, and any supporting documentation (e.g., receipts, proof of error).

Refund Approval

• Refund requests will be reviewed by the IOASD team. After review, refunds will be approved if the payment error or overpayment is verified.
• Refunds will only be issued after confirmation of the error or overpayment.

Refund Processing

• Once approved, refunds will be processed within 15 business days from the approval date.
• Refunds will be made through the same payment method used for the original transaction, unless otherwise agreed upon.

Non-Refundable Charges

• Some charges, such as administrative fees, service processing fees, or fees specific to certain programs (e.g., event registration fees, publication fees), may be non-refundable even if the payment was made by mistake or overpaid.
• Payments related to services that have already been rendered (such as membership fees or access to online content) are also non-refundable.
